Asthashree Sustainability Foundation (ASF) is a purpose-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable development, social inclusion, and citizen empowerment. Rooted in grassroots action and guided by global frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) principles, ASF works at the intersection of people, planet, and policy.

Founded under the leadership of Dr. Subhash Dalvi — a nationally recognized change-maker, environmentalist, and social reformer — ASF draws inspiration from decades of transformative work in Dharavi and other urban settlements, where community participation, behavioral change, and dignity-based development have proven to be powerful tools for nation-building.

Asthashree Sustainability Foundation (ASF) is a purpose-driven, non-profit organization committed to advancing sustainable development through social inclusion and citizen empowerment. Grounded in grassroots action and aligned with global frameworks such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG principles, ASF operates at the convergence of people, planet, and policy to create lasting societal impact. Founded under the visionary leadership of Dr. Subhash Dalvi, a nationally recognized environmentalist and social reformer, ASF is inspired by decades of transformative work in urban communities like Dharavi. These efforts have demonstrated that dignity-based development, behavioral change, and community participation are powerful drivers of nation-building. ASF views sustainability not as a concept, but as a living culture. Through innovative initiatives spanning environmental protection, sanitation, health, literacy, women and youth empowerment, senior citizen welfare, disaster management, and capacity building, the Foundation nurtures informed, resilient, and responsible citizens. With an inclusive, participatory, and impact-oriented approach, ASF blends grassroots action with policy advocacy, institutional partnerships, and CSR collaboration to support a truly Viksit Bharat.
